The ceremony of giving diplomas to masters which was trained in partner Germany universities took place in KNRTU-KAI.

At the on Thursday, September 13, the graduates received two diplomas at once: KNRTU-KAI and the University in Germany (Ilmenau Technical University in Thuringia, Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, Kaiserslautern Technical University).

The ceremony was taken place at the 8th building for the third time, but this year KNRTU-KAI turned into “an airport" for a short time. In the entrance area for visitors there was a "Duty free zone" in which everyone could buy souvenir products. Dignitaries were met by wonderful stewardesses, and graduates became passengers of the company «KNRTU-KAI-Airlines» along the route Kazan-Ilmenau-Magdeburg-Kaiserslautern-Kazan.

The passengers were welcomed by the crew members: the commander of the ship was the rector of the KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov, the assistant to the commander - the rector of the TU Ilmenau Peter Scharf, the navigator - the rector of the University of Magdeburg Jens Strakelyan and the onboard engineer - the representative of the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD Dr. Stefan Gayfes.

«Dear graduates, today is a very important day in your life. Almost 40 students will get a start in life. With all my heart I congratulate you. A high flight for you!» - Albert Kharisovich addressed to the audience.

 

After the words of congratulations, «the crew members» began to award diplomas to graduates of seven directions. Also, university employees were awarded. In the opinion of the graduates, Yevgeny Denisov was recognized as the best teacher by the KNRTU-KAI, Martin Hayward, the best teacher at the Technical University of Ilmenau, Matthias Magdowski, the best teacher of the University of Otto-von-Gerike, and Norbert Wayne, the best teacher of the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. And the best graduate is Liana Hamidullina.

Further on, university partners, Siemens AG and Grid Company, rose to the stage. Representatives of companies awarded nominal scholarships to the masters of the first year, who only await to Germany.

According to a good tradition, for the opening of a new partner program, another fir tree appeared on the alley in front of 8th building. Also graduates and dignitaries took part in flash mob, by another good tradition: they set pigeons free to the air.
